Powder coated cable basket tray is widely used in data centers and server rooms. It can keep tray color same as server racks’.  That is one advantage of black powder coated basket trays. From my point of view, the biggest advantage of powder coated cable basket trays is color. We can manage cables more efficiently by using different colors.

Powder coated finishing also has some disadvantages. For example, the plastic coating is more easlily to get scratched. It would require separation of each piece. Thus more packaging material shall be used which is not environmentally friendly. And we recommend customers to choose powder coating after zinc galvanized. This could get rid of partial rusting after powder coating scratched. Another disadvantage of powder coated cable basket is grounding. Installers have to ensure each connection was not blocked by the plastic coating. While on the other hand, it is extremely safe if electrical continuity job is well done for the powder coated cable basket system.

The dimension of powder coated cable basket is the same as our other series. It can be 2″ wide to 24″ wide, 2″ deep to 6″ deep. But the wire diameter will be a little bit thicker than the material diameter.
